Books, Europe and Moving around the globe have been the determining themes of my life. That’s why I call this websiteLiteurotour, combining these themes into one idea. 

I have completed the segments of life referred to as childhood, education and work. But no worries, this website is not about my past life in international development for almost 40 years.

Instead, I will write about touring Europe by train. I will start the site with a blog on my train travels in Europe (and maybe beyond) as of now.

Unexpectedly, even before boarding the first train, this topic has been more exciting than I had hoped for. Having been a frequent international air traveller, I am used to visiting an online travel portal, entering airports, deciding on start and return dates, and within moments, choosing among the connections offered (… or using the corporate travel agent…).
